Prayer Update!
From Alan and Bessie
For Thailand: goverment and the election or appointment of the new Prime Minister.
For Thai ministry:
* Ask God to challenge Christian to be faithful to God and also to hold fast to the truth and not to exchange truth for lie.
* Pray for God to bring a break through in this province, that people will come humble before Him and acknowledge Him as the true living God.
* Pray for starting of youth ministry. We run English camp for student on the 10-12 April, English teacher training on the 20-22 April. Church camp on the 24-26 April. Pray for opportunity to share the Gospel at all this event.
*Pray for strength and stamina to go through the day. The weather is very hot.
About
We are a team of six students currently in the M.E.E.T(Missions Education and Exposure Training) programme which is organized by FES(Fellowship of Evangelical Students). This programme includes a comprehensive ten-month training, of which its purpose is to educate and expose tertiary students to missions.
Our destination is Salokbat town in the province of KamPhaengPhet, Thailand. Thailand is a Southeast asia country with 76 administrative provinces. 93.4% of the population are Buddhists. And being Thai is almost synonymous with being a Buddhist. This close identification is one major barrier that obstructs the Thais from considering other religions.
We will be hosted by a Singaporean missionary:Alan, Bessie and Hannah, are presently serving in their third term in Thailand, with WEC(WorldWide Evangelization for Christ).
